An unfinished implementation of
Umbeziffern applied to a bunch of projections.
When Bounding Parallel is set to 90, the pole line will be as long as the parent projection’s pole line.
The Bounding Meridian setting has no effect when the parent projection has straight parallels.
When Areal Inflation is set to 0, the amount of areal inflation
of the parent projection is preserved.
The hard work was done by Peter Denner, I merely added a few projections.
Rendered with:
d3.geoUmbeziffernEqualArea().variant(3).poleline(65).parallels().ratio().xfactor()
Böhm Notation of current configuration: 65-60-60-0-200(Wagner VII)
Share the current configuration:
Only the projection parameters and the scale will be shared, no other values
from the Customize Map or Position sections. There’s no technical reason
for this, I’m just lazy. Sorry!
